Did Someone Mention FOOD?

I know it's MY Favorite Subject!!!
* * * FOOD * * * 

I am still working on the menu for the retreat... it'll be good, I promise! 

And if you've attended my retreats before,
you know we always have good and plentiful meals. 

But, Scrapbooker's cannot live on MEALS alone!

We need SNACKS!!! 
And Snacks mean EXTRA TICKET OPPORTUNITIES for you!!!

Here are the categories.  If you'd like to participate, I just need to hear from you!  Click HERE to send me an email and let me know what you plan to bring.  

EARN AN EXTRA TICKET
just for emailing me and telling me what you THINK you will bring! 

I don't need specifics, just in general.   

And for those of you who have never attended one of my retreats, you are in for a TREAT...
the SNACK TABLE is probably the most visited area of the event!  WOOHOO!!!

BEVERAGES
1 Ticket per item
(ex - a 2 liter bottle of soda, a box of hot chocolate, etc)

STORE BOUGHT ITEMS
1 Ticket per item
(ex - a full size bag of candy, package of cookies,
a cake/pie/donuts, full size bag of chips, dip, fruit, etc)

HOME MADE ITEMS
2 Ticket per item
(a full recipe of something homemade,
like a cake, cookies, snack mix, etc)

Remember, we will have endless coffee, iced tea and lemonade.

The tickets you will earn for bringing stuff will be given to you  
when you check-in and  
SHOW ME THE GOODIES!

    1 - Pkg of cookies/store bought item
    1 - home made item (not sure yet what it will be)

    I will bring:
    non-perish. coffee creamer
    8-pack of small Dr. Pepper bottles
    bottled water (24 pack?)
    home made toffee
    possibly home made chex mix

  3. I'm going to sign up for two store-bought items. I'm not really sure right now but it may be more depending on how snack hungry I am when I go shopping!!

  4. I'm going to bring a box of 100 calorie snacks: cheddar popcorn, baked cheetos, and cheddar sunchips. If I have time I plan to make the Pretzel Rods dipped in Caramel and Chocolate with Crushed Pecans. YUM!

  6. Me too! Me too! I haven't planned out exactly what store-bought things to bring, but I have decided to make my new favorite baking adventure - CAKE POPS. Darling little bundles of joy with pink icing and sprinkles. Pure joy. Can't wait - can't wait!! LOVE Janis and LOVE retreat. Mel

  8. I will be bring couple of 2-liter drinks & something homemade. Maybe those peanut butter balls that I brought at the fall retreat...

  10. CraftsyBeth....uh, may I suggest "strongly" that you bring that chex mix. It just wouldn't be the retreat with out it!

    I might also bring some puffcorn... Has anyone tried it? I think I've made it a habit once a week to have some.

    I'm hoping to try my hand at making those Oreo balls; but it'd be my first time, so not sure yet - bring if they turn out; not bring if they don't

  11. Okay, bringing the Chex mix....I'll omit the nuts in case anyone is allergic. I need more corn chex and pretzels though.

    Janis, did I mention that I have kind of a mild lactose thing? Just let me know if there's anything I should avoid.
